Do you ever remember thinking how miserable it must be for the citizens of this unpredictable world where monsters and forces of nature seem to target their home with extreme prejudice? How cruel the powers that be must be to them... Well, remember that when you read "The City The Sun Rarely Shines On". This story is told from the point of view of the men in charge of cleaning up the city after the many disasters that befall it.
"Golem" is a story told from the perspective of an artificial humanoid. Brought to life to protect a vulnerable people in a time of war, a being that does not understand his own existence or his creators observes the duality, fear, and cruelty of humanity.
