In the last four months, I've succeeded in obtaining new contacts and even conducting a new interview, but failed to transcribe it! (sigh) I've even managed to successfully write two all new horror stories for Mike Rickaby at CE Publishing for the awesome new FriteSite 2, yet I've failed to add new content or develop any new stories for my own projects! (facepalm) And worst of all, with all of the sacrifice I've made with my personal works, I've failed to move forward in my professional life... still no further bites in the vast sea of sharks and minnows known as the job market!! (groan)
But enough with the complaints. I'm still cool, calm, analytic, and optimistic as always! And I can say that I'm definitely excited to be working on my stories for the upcoming MEGABOOK 3 (deadline this Friday, and release is set to be around Turkey Day)!! On top of that, I'll soon be receiving my printed copy of the "White Zombie" anthology! Because I don't own a tablet or Iphone, I haven't had the chance to fully enjoy "White Zombie", but I look forward to seeing the comic and reading all of the awesome and gory content that my fellow "Zombie" writers contributed! Besides, what writer doesn't enjoy the look of one of his own works on his bookshelf or even the feel of the pages as he flips through it for the very first time? I know I do!
Outside of my contributions for anthologies, I do intend to post at least one or two new stories here soon. Hopefully I'll also start making some significant moves with "Chimera" and "Heaven's Pariah". I'll have to reconnect with my team for "Illicit Liberties", as that project came to an unexpected halt. Also, as I've been dabbling a bit with ideas for comedy and horror, a long-time buddy of mine has been tossing ideas around with me for a comedy movie script, but at the moment, I can only say that the jokes remain on the "inside".
Anyway, I'm planning to continue recording my progress here again. Honestly, for a while I actually forgot I even had a website! But as long as I'm here on Earth, alive and kickin', I'll always be back for more with Pen & Sword Ink adn te
