"Not My Heroes" imagines a world where superheroes exist and follows one man who wishes they didn't. In the animated film "Justice League: War", the father of Victor Stone aka Cyborg, basically told his own son who was a football all-star that in a world where men could fly, run at the speed of light, and demolish buildings with their hands, his talents were meaningless (I'm paraphrasing, of course). Now, imagine if you lived in such a world where your greatest achievements were overlooked because you were only human. I bet this is how Lex Luthor feels...
"Remember Not" is set in a future where people can view and reconstruct memories to their liking. Memory architects could tap into your mind, erase and replace whatever you would like. No need for a photographic memory when someone could find a specific experience and bring it to the forefront. No need to hold on to traumatic experiences when you could just have it excised from your brain. But there is also a morality issue in this: what if someone else influenced what you did and did not remember?
