Leaps and Bounds on the Comics Frontier

Today is the day!  My original script for "Josiah Phoenix" was ripped apart by Steven Forbes at ComixTribe.com.  You can see Steven's critique below.  Just copy and paste!

I honestly have to say that I disagree with most of what he said.  I'll avoid going into a tirade to defend my "baby", but I'll admit that he also made some fair points too.  From feedback I obtained from others, my dialogue was the main thing that was on point.  According to Mr. Forbes though, it was the downfall to the script, aside from panel descriptions...  Just goes to show that you can't please everyone! But let me know what YOU think too!  "Josiah Phoenix" was my first attempt at comic script writing, but it definitely won't be my last!

And on that note...

I have an artist for "Illicit Liberties"!!!  I posted an ad on DigitalWebbing.com and I got some nice responses from a few artists in the first 12 hours!  With an artist attached to a project, publishing opportunities are increased tenfold.  I don't even know where to begin with submissions now, but I think that chances are pretty good that it will go into print in the near future.  I am also still working out some details for my first graphic novel, "Missing Links", which I'm sure will be enjoyed by a larger audience!  I was also informed of an opportunity to work on a large newsprint with other creators to showcase other works of up and coming artists and writers.  In addition to the offer to collaborate on the outside sci-fi project (which I never heard any further response on...), this has been a pretty awesome week for me as a writer!  I've made a lot of progress recently and I have more experience to aid me in my growth.

I have so many ideas floating in my head at a time it's becoming difficult to settle on what I want to do with my "web novel" that I promised, but I will be sure to produce something in the near future!  In the meantime, my blessings go out to all and I want you to keep your eyes open, because there is more to come as always!
